Stephanie and Luke’s courthouse elopement was the perfect blend of simplicity and style. After saying their “I dos” at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, we headed over to the Civic Center for some portraits. With its iconic arches and art deco architecture, the Civic Center gave us a great mix of elegance and laid-back vibes—just what we needed for a weekday elopement.

As someone who’s known Stephanie since our middle school days, this session was a bit of a throwback for me. We’ve come a long way from Orange County to Beverly Hills, and there was something special about being able to document this new chapter in her life. The traffic may have tried to slow us down, but nothing could stop us from making the most of this day.

The Civic Center’s open courtyards and quiet walkways set the stage for some relaxed, candid moments. No big crowds, no fuss—just the two of them, taking it all in. We wandered around the gardens and found a few hidden spots that brought out the classic LA vibe, capturing that “just married” glow without all the extra frills.

Their courthouse elopement was a reminder that you don’t need an extravagant setup to make a day feel special. It’s about choosing a path that suits you, and for Stephanie and Luke, that meant keeping things real and embracing the moment.
