Charlotte's 19th birthday portraits were taken at Quail Hill in Irvine, California. This location is known for its beautiful scenery, which can change depending on the time of year. In the spring and summer, the hills are lush with greenery, while in the fall, they turn a beautiful shade of neutral yellow.


I can't believe how fast my baby sister is growing up! She turned 19 last September, and she looked absolutely stunning in her birthday portraits. I was so happy to be able to take her photos. She got major fomo when I photographed my cousins Harlow and Lorelai at Quail Hill the other month, so she asked me if I could take her birthday photos at the same location.


While it's not customary to commemorate the 19th birthday with a big celebration, I believe that any birthday is worth celebrating. And come to think of it, I believe this is the first time I've ever taken "professional" photos of Charlotte! I'm so glad she voiced her desire for photos.


We put my 4-foot numbers to good use. One day in college, I was bored and wanted to create numbers to use for my photoshoots. I'm happy to bring out my numbers for any sessions upon request! I have numbers 0-9 (no duplicates). Haha! Since creating them, my numbers have been a big hit! They add a fun and creative element to my photos, and I'm so glad I made them.
